How does london nightlife compare with new york nightlife?

I am from new york city. I am 23 years old. Will i be disappointed with the London nightlife compared to New York? Also are the prices similar? I am planning to go with a few of my friends for 10 days i hope that's enough. The accent is quite sexy even though i have no idea what they are saying half of the time =)

1. yea, I like it...the people are hot! But I've never been to New york so idk how to compare it, but it is better than Chicago nightlife if that helps
2. The London nightlife is a lot younger than the NYC one (mainly because the drinking age is 18 in London). Also, clubs here cater to every walk of life. There are tons of gay bars in Soho, upscale bars in Mayfair and the more affordable but still chic places in Leicester square. Price wise, a vodka tonic can be as little as £2 at the Soho Bar to £9 at The Penthouse. So it all really depends on where you go. You’ll have a blast here! Just don’t forget your ID (they don’t accept anything other than a passport or drivers license here).
3. The night life is gr8 in London. There are many late night clubs and bars in london which are mostly occupied. Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest and many party goers hit the bars and clubs.
