What neighborhood in manhattan is best for a bachelor?
I'm thinking about living in manhattan and I want to live in a lively environment (the type of neighborhood where you go out at 3 o' clock in the morning and there's still a lot of people, lights, cars, etc.) and not in a quiet secluded area like upper east side. Also, I would prefer to be near restaurants and clubs. I'm looking for a high rise apartment/condo. What can I get for $ 3 million?

- Well if you're serious and legitimate, there is only one place to find out that information: NY City Real Estate Agent.
- Soho or Tribeca for $3 million you would be good for a several years if you rent, best to buy a co-op, but you might need more cash after buying one in Soho or Tribeca.
- well, for $3 million, you could probably even get a deal on a townhouse. but if apartment living is more your speed, i wouldn't even blow $3 million on a condo, i'd invest the money for income, and use that to pay for a rental, and i'd still have more than enough left over and make money on the deal. as far as i'm concerned, real estate here is still on a down slope and still has to bottom out in the next year or two...
- Meatpacking district is always swarming with hott girls! Murray Hill isn't as trendy but there are always people around. Both places are major NYC hot spots!
